The No-Needle Health Check

See where you stand on strength, balance, memory, sleep and nutrition. At home, with no needles.

No blood tests, no travel, no appointments. The No-Needle Health Check is a self-assessment of function and daily habits that you run yourself, at home, guided step by step by our virtual assistant. All you need is a phone or a laptop, a chair and a few metres of clear floor.

What it is and what it isn’t. This is a self-assessment tool, for information and guidance only. It is not a diagnostic test and it does not replace assessment by a healthcare professional. If a result concerns you, talk to your doctor or to our team.

How it works

1. We guide you through it. A voice assistant explains every test before you do it, with a short video. Uncomfortable with one? We skip it.

2. You do the tests. Movement, strength and balance: standing up from a chair, single leg balance, getting up from the floor, walking and turning. Thinking: draw a clock, name as many animals as you can in 60 seconds.

3. You answer a few questions. Daily life, eating, sleeping, chewing, how you feel.

4. You get your result. Every test is scored against reference values, so you get an indication of where you stand.

Who it is for

Any adult who wants a sense of how they are doing, without travelling. Especially useful from 50 onwards, when it pays to keep an eye on how you move, how you sleep and how you eat.

What you need

A phone or laptop with a camera, a stable chair, a few metres of clear space and about 20 minutes. Best with someone nearby.
